Top Ten Tuesday – Books That Must be adapted to Screen
Five Book Series That Need Screen Adaptations ASAP
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson
Political drama? Check. Troubled and quirky heroes? Check. Some version of the Night King, except he is actually ruling the world? Also check. Seriously, what’s not to love about Sanderson’s universe?
Heist Society by Ally Carter
You know how in love everyone is with Money Heist? Now imagine Money Heist, but with teenage characters, and its share of family drama.
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Yes, a pathetic attempt at a movie was made. That doesn’t count. We need at least five seasons of ten episodes each, with a possible spin off for the Blood Lines era.
The Unwind Dystology by Neil Shusterman
This ground breaking series of books was released during the climax of the Dystopian era. Among all futuristic literature released at the time, it was one of the best. Sadly, given the current political-socio climate, I doubt we will ever see this on screen in my life time.
Inheritance Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin
Politics, gods, love, and betrayal. I honestly can’t think of anything on our screens that could compare to this. If done right, such a series could potentially match Game of Thrones.
